Ziora Beauty initially operated through a single physical outlet, serving local customers with personalized beauty products. Building a scalable shopping and beauty e-commerce platform from the scratch

Team Daffodil kickstarted the project by collaborating closely with Ziora Beauty to understand their goals for expanding into the digital marketplace. We gathered key insights into their business objectives, target audience and desired features for the e-commerce platform.

We designed a responsive, SEO-optimized interface using NextJS, ensuring seamless accessibility across the web and mobile. The focus was on creating an engaging UI/UX design that prioritized smooth navigation and a visually appealing layout aligned with Ziora Beauty’s brand identity.

For the backend, we implemented Django for its robust security features and flexibility, enabling smooth integration with third-party services. Elastic Search was integrated to enhance product search functionality, delivering fast and accurate results. PostgreSQL was chosen as the database for its ability to handle large datasets in order to ensure reliable and scalable data management.

We also integrated essential third-party services including Blue Dart for delivery, a secure payment gateway and an email gateway to enhance customer communication. The development process was iterative with continuous feedback from Ziora Beauty to ensure the platform evolved in alignment with their business goals and vision.
